Terms of Service

gradhire verifies demonstrated capability: you complete role-true challenges or attach real work, defend it, and receive a multi-dimensional, evidence-backed record with explicit uncertainty. You may enable an AI persona that represents you using only your verified proof, and opt into discovery so employers’ needs can be matched against your record. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

• You must be at least 16. Community and messaging features require 18+ with verified age.
• One account per person, in your own identity. You are responsible for activity under your account.

The value of every credential depends on every other credential being real. You agree not to: have someone else complete or defend work as you; misrepresent authorship; attempt to manipulate judging (including prompt injection or planted instructions in submissions); farm engagement points; scrape or harvest other users’ data; or probe the platform for leaked answer keys. AI assistance in your work is allowed and logged — what we measure is your judgment over it. Integrity violations may result in score invalidation, credential revocation, and account termination.

• You retain ownership of work you submit. You grant us the license needed to evaluate it, produce your scores, and display what you choose to share.
• Do not submit content you have no right to share (e.g. an employer’s confidential material).
• Your credential is portable and revocable by you; we may revoke credentials whose integrity is compromised (e.g. leaked items, detected fraud), and we operate a revocation list verifiers can check.

A gradhire score is an evaluative judgment with a disclosed basis and an uncertainty band, valid for a stated field and use. It is not a guarantee of ability or employment, and no employer decision is made by gradhire. Scores are contestable: you may appeal any score to human re-adjudication with authority to change it. “Practice” and “Verified” tiers mean what they say — a field earns the Verified tier only after its measurement passes our published gates.

• Organization accounts may describe hiring needs and receive matches from candidates who opted into discovery. Proof detail is visible only after the candidate allows your intro, and only to your organization.
• Usage-based fees (per verified interview and per hire) are charged as metered, with any spend cap you configure enforced before charging. Interviews count only when the candidate confirms the booking.
• You agree to use candidate data solely for the hiring need at hand, to keep it confidential, and to comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination law. Outcome reports you provide must be truthful.

Community spaces are for verified professionals. No harassment, hate, spam, doxxing, or impersonation. The anonymous candor lane hides your name from peers, not from the platform — we retain authorship for moderation and will act on abuse. We may remove content and archive inactive groups.

The service is provided “as is”; we do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that any employer will engage you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding a claim or 100 USD. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You can stop using gradhire and erase your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how erasure works). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice and the reason except where fraud prevention requires otherwise. We will notify you of material changes to these terms; continued use after notice is acceptance.
